Ajeer Institute of Higher studies is the authorized training and testing centre for ECDL / ICDL afganistan. ECDL is basically from Dublin, Europe. And ECDL foundation is non profitable organisation deals with digital litracy program around 200 countries. After Successful completion of the course students will get certificate from Ajeer Institute as well as ECDL foundation which is recognised by 200 countries. Duration of course is 6 months after Completion student has to write test to obtain International Computer Driving Licence from dublin, Europe.

What is ICDL?
ICDL is a test of practical skills and competencies and consists of seven separate modules covering computer theory and practice. To achieve an ECDL / ICDL certification, the Candidate must successfully pass a test in all seven modules.

ECDL / ICDL Module 1 is a theoretical test of computing knowledge at a general level and modules 2-7 are practical skills tests, as follows:

Module 1: Concepts of Information and Communication Technology (ICT)requires the candidate to understand the main concepts of ICT at a general level, and to know about the different parts of a computer.

Module 2:  Using the Computer and Managing Filesrequires the candidate to demonstrate competence in running and managing a personal computer.

Module 3:  Word Processingrequires the candidate to demonstrate the ability to use a word processing application to create everyday letters and documents.

Module 4:  Spreadsheetsrequires the candidate to understand the concept of spreadsheets and to demonstrate an ability to use a spreadsheet to produce accurate work outputs.

Module 5:  Using Databasesrequires the candidate to understand the concept of a database and demonstrate competence in using a database.

Module 6:  Presentationrequires the candidate to demonstrate competence in using presentation software.

Module 7:  Web Browsing and Communicationis divided into two sections.
The first section, Web Browsing, requires the candidate to know about the Internet and to use a web browsing application and communication.
